Required fitness level for multi day tours

The tracks we traverse on our guided hiking tours through the Blue Mountains are known as ‘multi-terrain.’ Throughout our 3 or more days together, we will encounter rocky paths, slick creek crossings, elevated mountain roads, and shaded bush trails, some of which will be through uneven, undefined terrain. Naturally, each tour is different, with varied tracks and landmarks to discover. For this reason, it is important you are fully aware of your fitness level before embarking. With many steep climbs, long periods of continuous hiking over multiple days, and situations in which mobility is key, we encourage moderate to high fitness levels to all those who are interested in our tours through the Blue Mountains. Prior training combining bushwalking, steep hill climbs, high mobility while carrying a weighted pack of around 14-16kgs, or the functional gym equivalent should be undertaken at least two months in advance to the tours.
