Breakfast
Calling all Masterchef’s! Our morning porridge is made so much more fun by our little DIY challenge; plate up the most artistic bowl possible. Choose from chia seeds, sultanas, coconut, brown sugar, cinnamon and assorted other toppings to produce a bowl that’s almost too good to eat. And then gobble it all up nice and quickly while it’s warm; a nourishing meal to give you all the energy you need for the day ahead.
Lunch
Colours Colours Colours! Nothing beats fresh food on the track, and lunch is no place to start skimping. We will prepare a kaleidoscope of fresh veggies, salami, and falafel (vegetarian option) to fill your wrap. And don’t worry, there’s always enough for seconds. Also, make sure you don’t miss out on the life-changing caramelized onion relish; it’s good to keep it a little bit fancy in the bush.
Dinner
Empty bellies unite with our 3-course smorgasbord! It’s always changing with the seasons, but an example menu below might give you some hints. Think cozy soups, followed by a warm broccolini and bocconcini gnocchi with fresh chilli (try saying that five times fast!). Let's finish the night on a sugar high, with a warm custard and ginger-nut snap crumble. Mmm!
Snacks
Think you’ll still be hungry? Don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with your own personal trail mix that’s so yummy, you’ll be struggling to ration it to the last day. Also, for those chocolate lovers out there, we’ll have a block a day to share amongst the group, so you’ll get your fix, I promise.

Drinks
As you shuffle into camp, there is nothing more motivating than the promise of a warm drink. We’ll have a variety to satisfy all taste buds; black tea, herbal teas, coffee, and hot chocolate. We’ll also always start the day with tea or a fresh pot of bush coffee. For all you espresso lovers out there, I trust it’ll still hit the spot!
Please note: Freeland Hiking Co. is happy to adjust the menu to suit all dietary requirements i.e. vegetarian or gluten-free. Please let us know at the time of booking!
