Have you got the 'iso-itch' to get outdoors and explore? Well then it's time to take your new favourite hobby (walking, that is) on a real adventure in the Royal National Park!

Highlights

  • Explore your own backyard in the company of an expert guide who will be sure to teach you new and wonderful facts about Sydney's diverse ecology

  • Spot rare wildlife like echidnas, sea eagles and whales

  • Meet other like-minded people and make new and true social connections

  • Be spoilt with a hot cup of coffee or tea, and a tasty treat amongst the trees

Itinerary

9:00 am - We'll all meet at Oftord in the Royal National Park.

11:00 am - Our morning hike will bring us to Burning Palms beach for a scrumptious morning tea and a swim. We'll provide a hot drink and delicious snacks for everyone to enjoy.

12:00 pm - After morning tea, we'll continue hiking north towards North Era Beach for lunch. We'll have time to slow down and relax here,  enjoying the azure blue waters and the beauty of nature. You're welcome to swim again at North Era Beach, and there is a toilet here for those in need.

1:30 pm - After dusting off your sandy feet, we'll depart North Era and begin the return hike back to Otford. Taking it nice and slow, we'll climb through the giant palm jungle and up the escarpment, towards the incredibly vast sea views from Otford lookout.

4:00 pm (approx.) - We'll arrive back at our vehicles, saying farewell to our new local friends and returning to our homes, riding that natural bush-high that comes from spending a day in nature!

Otford Lookout - 9:am

If you're providing your own transport, then meet us at Otford Lookout at 9 am. Don't worry, we'll include some further details with your booking confirmation.

What fitness level do I need?

Easy - Moderate

The Coastal Track in the Royal National Park is a lovely easy-moderate level walk. The gradient is mostly flat and gentle, but there are some steeper incline and declines over headlands and down to beaches. A reasonable level of fitness is required to complete the track, but we will take regular breaks to ensure this walk is enjoyable for all. You can expect to be walking for approximately 5 hours, broken up with regular breaks.
